The Montgomery Township Environmental Commission/Sustainable Montgomery is pleased to announce the sixth annual Earth Day Fair at the Montgomery High School on Route 601. It will be held Sunday April 10, 2011, 12-4 pm, indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. This year's theme is: Every Day is Earth Day in Montgomery Township.
"A new exhibit this year is an Earth Balloon," said Fair Co-coordinator Debbie Gartenberg, who is leading fair planning with co-coordinator Malini Waghray. She explained further, "This is a two story tall 'earth' into which families can enter for a tour from an instructor. What a great way to experience our planet!"

In addition to several speakers and environmental displays, there will be live music, a clown, children activities, food, and much more. Local businesses, civic organizations, municipal committees, school groups, scout troops and local residents will offer a wide variety of public education displays on topics of environmental interest.
Once again there will be free computer recycling available for all residents sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies as well as a bicycle collection that will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton. There will be opportunities to recycle items not currently collected by our county recycling program, such as eye glasses, cell phones, and other household items. Back again this year will be a "Freecycle" event, where you can drop off items you no longer need, and find new items to take home, all for FREE! There is no admission charge to display or to attend the event.
